Fill your freezer for winter! Candella's has a program for you.

Join to fill your freeze or join with your friends & family!

Freezing & Canning package - Want to be sure your freezer is full for the winter. You will receive 8 bulk items for one set price of $149 cash (credit card $155).

The following is an example of what will be included, 8 of the following items:

  • 1 bushel green bell peppers
  • 1 handle basket pickling cukes (mid/late August)
  • 1 bushel sweet green Italia frying peppers
  • 1 bushel Hungarian hots
  • 1 bushel green Cubanelle frying peppers
  • 1 bushel green long hot peppers
  • 1 bushel round canning tomatoes (mid-Sept)
  • 1/2 bushel Roma Tomatoes
  • 1 bushel Eggplant
  • 1/2 bushel mixed winter squash (late September)
  • 1 bushel of sweet corn
  • 1/2 bu zucchini squash
  • 1/2 bu yellow squash
  • 1/2 bushel cousa

The items will be based on availability and abundance of harvest.
For example, Tomatoes might not be available under this program until their harvest peaks in early/ mid September.

There will be two or three weeks where we will do fill your own box. This is where we will have bins of product set out and you will be able to go through and fill your own boxes. This will give you an option to mix and match on those weeks. If you do not want to fill your own we will select an item for you.

You will get items for example as listed above.

This is not a program where you are given a selection of what you want but you will receive at least 8 items as listed above. This is a program similar to a CSA where you get what grows the best and in abundance that week. Due to the inherent challenges of harvesting and growing fresh produce, we do have the option to replace items if we have an issue with a crop or production is low.

The Canning & Freezing program will run mid/late August through early October.
There might be a week when you receive 2 items in one week depending on when you sign up.

Pick up will be on Saturdays or Thursday's beginning mid-August.
You do need to pick on your assigned day.

This package is being offered for an extremely low price of price of $149 cash (credit card is $155) If you do not like hot peppers we will make replacement with sweet peppers, you will receive double sweet peppers.
When signing up note NO HOT Peppers.
That is only item we will swap out.
